Common questions
How can I export my data?
Open ShiftTap and go to Settings -> Export Data. From there you can export your data as CSV or PDF.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. Your data stays stored locally on your device. There is no mandatory cloud sync for your personal entries.
How do I unlock premium features?
In the app, go to Settings -> Premium. There you can choose a monthly, yearly, or lifetime option if available.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, go to Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions -> ShiftTap -> Cancel Subscription.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. ShiftTap is designed for everyday use without a constant internet connection. You only need a connection for purchase-related actions or certain Apple services.
How do I enable Live Activities?
Start a shift in the app. If Live Activities are allowed on your iPhone, the status appears automatically on the Lock Screen.
How do I add widgets?
Press and hold your Home Screen, tap +, search for ShiftTap, and select the widget you want.
Can I track multiple jobs or locations?
Yes. You can create multiple jobs or places in settings and assign them to your shifts.
Is the tax calculation legally binding?
No. The calculation is only meant as guidance. For binding tax advice, please consult a professional.
